Operate covertly to infiltrate organizations or environments, gather and document intelligence and evidence on individuals or activities, detect unlawful acts or policy violations, and report findings to clients or authorities while maintaining cover and legal standards.
- • Write detailed reports and case summaries documenting undercover activities and findings.
- • Research targets using databases, public records, and open-source intelligence to build covers and plan operations.
- • Obtain and analyze intelligence on suspects, schemes, or rule violations to support cases.
- • Conduct covert investigations for corporate, legal, or law-enforcement clients.
- • Testify in hearings or trials to present undercover evidence.
- • Engage subjects and associates under pretext to elicit information relevant to cases.
- • Observe and document target activities using concealed audio/video and other surveillance tools.
- • Communicate real-time updates on suspect activities or locations to case handlers.
- • Assume covert identities and roles to evaluate conduct, identify theft or fraud, or gather insider evidence.
- • Participate in sting operations involving fraud, embezzlement, or contraband in coordination with investigators.
- • Detect and document fraudulent insurance claims or misappropriated assets through undercover interaction.
- • Coordinate with security teams and law enforcement on planning, debriefs, and chain-of-custody for evidence.
- • While embedded, review transactions, cash handling, or inventory controls to identify shortages or policy violations.
- • Maintain cover stories, manage operational risk, and comply with legal and ethical standards during evidence collection.
