Description
Investigate and deter theft, fraud, and policy violations in retail or corporate settings to protect company assets, gathering, analyzing, and reporting evidence on internal and external losses, conducting surveillance and lawful apprehensions, and coordinating with management and law enforcement.
- • Write incident and case reports to document investigations, evidence, and recoveries.
- • Monitor and analyze CCTV, EAS, POS exceptions, and digital records to detect theft or fraud.
- • Conduct covert and overt surveillance of suspects and high-risk areas.
- • Apprehend or detain shoplifters and dishonest employees in accordance with laws and company policy.
- • Interview witnesses and subjects to obtain statements and admissions.
