Create original and adapted screenplays for film, television, and streaming, shaping story structure, characters, and dialogue for production.
  • • Develop concepts, loglines, and pitches for films, series, and episodes.
  • • Select subjects and formats (feature, pilot, episode) to express themes and stories.
  • • Plan beats, acts, and story arcs; create treatments, outlines, and series bibles.
  • • Write screenplays with clear scene direction, action, and authentic dialogue.
  • • Build characters, worlds, tone, and pacing to drive story and audience engagement.
  • • Revise drafts to incorporate notes from producers, directors, showrunners, and executives.
  • • Conduct research to ensure accuracy of settings, professions, and historical details.
  • • Adapt books, articles, life stories, or other IP into screenplays.
  • • Collaborate in writers' rooms to break stories and write or polish episodes.
  • • Format scripts to industry standards using screenwriting software.
  • • Register scripts with the WGA and file copyrights; secure underlying rights when needed.

  • • Attend table reads and rehearsals; adjust pages based on performance and production needs.
  • • Coordinate with directors and production teams to address notes, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • • Deliver beat sheets, drafts, and color-page revisions on deadline.
