Description
Mix, calibrate, and apply pesticides, herbicides, and related chemical treatments to control pests, weeds, or diseases across structures, landscapes, and rights-of-way, following label directions and safety regulations.
- • Document applications, products used, rates, and site conditions.
- • Inspect sites to identify target pests or weeds and assess treatment areas and access.
- • Mix, load, and apply liquid, granular, or gaseous formulations using sprayers, spreaders, injectors, or foggers.
- • Clean and decontaminate equipment and work areas after treatment.
- • Lead or assist crew members during mixing and application tasks.
- • Drive and operate trucks or rigs equipped with power spraying equipment.
- • Post required signage and secure treated areas per label and regulations.
- • Prepare application sites, including drilling or soil/root injection where required.
- • Review labels, SDS, site maps, and treatment plans to select methods and rates.
- • Place and maintain chemical baits where permitted.
- • Clear vegetation or debris to allow safe, effective application and drainage.
- • Advise clients on treatment options, reentry intervals, and preventive measures.
- • Measure treatment areas, calibrate equipment, calculate product quantities, and prepare cost estimates.
