Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify improvements in cost, service, and reliability. May manage network activities including invoicing accuracy, electronic billing, and shipment visibility.
- • Identify opportunities for inventory reductions.
- • Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in supply chain planning or execution.
- • Enter supply chain data into ERP or analytics systems.

- • Maintain master data and databases of supply chain information.
- • Maintain supply chain records in accordance with corporate policies and compliance requirements.
- • Develop or maintain models for forecasting, capacity planning, inventory optimization, or network design.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize total cost.
- • Compute reporting metrics, such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and OTIF.
- • Interpret data on supply chain elements, such as availability, reliability, strategic sourcing, supplier performance, or transportation.
- • Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, and control supply chain operations.
- • Analyze supply chain data using data mining, modeling, simulation, or cost-benefit analysis.
- • Monitor the flow of inventory or orders via web-based supply chain and logistics systems.
- • Optimize production and shipping schedules to align supply with demand and maximize asset utilization.
- • Support exception management by expediting orders, reallocating inventory, or adjusting plans in real time.
- • Manage excess or obsolete inventory through redeployment, returns, or liquidation to minimize losses.
- • Evaluate suppliers, carriers, or locations for cost, risk, sustainability, and service impact.
- • Track and report carbon footprint or environmental-impact data for supply chain activities.
