Evaluate and grade logs in yards, decks, or millponds by inspecting defects, species, and dimensions, marking logs for processing and documenting results.
- • Evaluate log characteristics and assign grades using established criteria.
- • Inspect logs for defects such as splits, knots, rot, sweep, and water damage.
- • Measure log length and diameter to support grading decisions.
