Description
Maintain and process employment and applicant records to support recruiting and hiring activities. Screen applications, coordinate interviews and pre-employment steps, prepare employment documents and reports, and provide authorized information to applicants, staff, and outside parties while ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
- • Explain hiring procedures, job requirements, and basic policies and benefits to applicants.
- • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications and eligibility.
- • Answer inquiries about job openings, application status, testing, eligibility, salaries, and benefits.
- • Maintain and update applicant and employment records, including contact data, status changes, evaluations, and separation reasons.
- • Examine and retrieve employee or applicant files to provide information for hiring actions.
- • Gather personnel documents from departments to complete employment files.
- • Search records and furnish authorized information to internal staff and external organizations.
- • Conduct initial screenings or interviews to verify applicant information.
- • Request and verify references, employment history, and background information per policy.
- • Administer and score pre-employment tests and assessments.
- • Compile and prepare reports on requisitions, applicant flow, hires, and related employment activity.
- • Notify applicants of selection decisions and next steps or rejections.
- • Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interview schedules.
- • Arrange and post job vacancies on internal and external platforms and notify eligible workers.
- • Assist with new-hire onboarding, including offer letters, I-9 completion, and E-Verify submissions.
- • Prepare badges, passes, and system access requests for new hires and contractors.
- • Process, verify, and file employment-related documentation for staffing, recruitment, training, and classifications.
- • Coordinate and set up new employee orientations and training sessions.
- • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with recordkeeping, EEO, and company policies.
