Description
Overnight front desk professional who handles late arrivals and departures, reconciles daily revenue and guest accounts through the night audit, posts charges and payments, maintains room and reservation records, ensures property security, and prepares the front office for morning operations.
- • Greet, register, and assign rooms to late-arriving guests.
- • Verify identity, rates, and payment methods; secure authorizations.
- • Post room, tax, and ancillary charges; adjust and correct folios.
- • Compute and collect payments; settle cash and credit transactions.
- • Perform nightly audit; balance ledgers and reconcile discrepancies.
- • Close the business day and roll the system date.
- • Run, review, and distribute night audit and revenue reports.
- • Keep records of room availability and guest accounts in the PMS.
- • Process no-shows, cancellations, and same-day reservations.
- • Review guest accounts and charges during late-night or early check-outs.
