Directly supervise slot floor operations and staff to ensure safe, compliant, and profitable play. Circulate the slot area to oversee guest service, coverage, machine uptime, jackpots, and payouts. Authorize hand pays and fills, reset machines, and coordinate repairs while managing performance, documentation, and staff schedules and training.
  • • Monitor slot floor operations for compliance with house rules and all gaming regulations and to ensure prompt, courteous service.
  • • Respond to and resolve slot patron complaints and disputes.
  • • Observe slot areas for cheating or machine tampering and notify surveillance or security.
  • • Perform minor slot repairs and adjustments, clearing tilts and bill validator or printer jams.
  • • Authorize and monitor payment of jackpots and hand pays for accuracy and timeliness.
  • • Greet slot customers and check on service quality.
  • • Complete and verify paperwork and system entries for jackpots, fills, variances, and exceptions.
  • • Explain slot rules, denominations, paytables, and betting limits to patrons.
  • • Stay current on slot titles, features, and cheating or tampering methods.
  • • Reset slot machines after payoffs, tilts, or service calls.
  • • Answer patron questions about machine functions, TITO payouts, and player club features.
  • • Record and report malfunctioning machines; document issues and repair requests in maintenance systems.
  • • Report customer incidents and disputes on the slot floor to management and surveillance.
  • • Set and monitor machine banks, denominations, and limits as directed, ensuring proper signage.
  • • Place out-of-order notices and lock out machines; coordinate repair or removal with technicians.
  • • Enforce age and safety rules; address or report hazards and underage, intoxicated, or disruptive guests.
  • • Provide change or TITO assistance and process currency exchanges as permitted.
  • • Monitor staffing and coverage by zone; assign and move slot attendants to ensure service levels.
  • • Ensure slot machines and surrounding areas are clean and presentable; coordinate with housekeeping.
  • • Evaluate slot employees' performance and prepare written evaluations.
  • • Monitor patrons for signs of problem gambling and provide assistance per policy.
  • • Authorize and witness hopper fills, ticket stock changes, and vault transactions per internal controls.
  • • Monitor coin hopper and bill acceptor levels and arrange refills or service.
  • • Determine slot staffing needs by shift and assist with scheduling.
  • • Direct staff compiling daily slot revenue, meter, and variance summaries; reconcile jackpot logs.
  • • Supervise issuance of complimentary offers to slot players based on play and policy.
  • • Review slot operational expenses, performance metrics, and collection or drop reports for accuracy.
  • • Recommend machine moves, conversions, payback settings, or game mix changes within policy.
  • • Train, supervise, schedule, and coach slot attendants and hosts.
  • • Interview and hire slot floor staff.
