Description
Design and implement quantitative models for equity research, stock selection, and portfolio construction. Build and validate factor, risk, and pricing models; backtest and deploy systematic strategies; and support portfolio managers and traders with analytics across global equities.
- • Prepare requirements documentation for equity analytics, data feeds, and trading platform enhancements.
- • Provide analytical support to portfolio managers and traders on valuations, signals, and data quality.
- • Identify, track, and report metrics for equity strategy and trading system performance.
- • Collaborate with engineers to develop and test analytical software per user specifications.
- • Research new equity factors, alternative datasets, and modeling techniques for alpha generation.
- • Maintain, calibrate, and enhance equity alpha, risk, and transaction cost models.
- • Produce written and visual reports summarizing equity research and live results.
- • Interpret backtests, performance attribution, and risk diagnostics to refine models.
- • Build reusable factor libraries and core analytics using advanced statistical and econometric methods.
- • Define model specifications, feature sets, and data collection methods for equities.
- • Consult portfolio managers and traders to prioritize and design new analytical applications and tools.
- • Coordinate with technology and product teams to implement and validate systematic equity strategies.
- • Develop tools for portfolio construction, optimization, performance measurement, attribution, P&L, and pricing.
- • Create independent benchmarks and challenger models to verify production results.
- • Apply quantitative techniques to stock selection, execution, risk modeling, and valuation.
- • Model and monitor transaction costs, market impact, and liquidity constraints in equities.
- • Integrate ESG or thematic signals into equity models when required by mandates.
- • Monitor live models for drift, decay, and data issues, and maintain model governance and documentation.
