Description
Develop and validate quantitative models to support securities and equities investing, pricing, valuation, and risk management, applying statistical, econometric, and optimization techniques for asset allocation, relative value analysis, and model governance.
- • Gather and document model and system requirements for developers.
- • Provide analytical and application support to researchers and traders on valuations and data.
- • Track and report key metrics for trading and analytics systems.
- • Partner with engineers to develop and test analytical software for compliance with specifications.
- • Research new financial products, datasets, and analytics for investment use.
- • Maintain, recalibrate, and enhance financial models in production.
- • Produce clear written summaries of research methods, results, and recommendations.
- • Interpret and communicate results of quantitative analyses to stakeholders.
- • Build reusable model libraries using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric methods.

- • Develop tools for portfolio construction and optimization, performance attribution, profit and loss measurement, and pricing.
- • Create independent challenge models and tools to validate system outputs.
- • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to derivatives pricing, securities trading, risk management, and regulatory analysis.
- • Model pricing and risk for carbon trading products where applicable.
- • Assess financial impacts of climate change, including damages, insurance costs, and operational disruption.
- • Develop ESG performance measurement methodologies and metrics.
- • Design hedging solutions for carbon exposure and environmental risks.
- • Evaluate green technologies and financial products, including socially responsible and green funds.
