Description
Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local Equal Employment Opportunity laws and policies; lead investigations, reporting, training, and corrective actions to prevent discrimination and promote fair employment practices across the employment lifecycle.
- • Investigate EEO complaints and employment practices; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- • Interpret and advise on Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and related EEO regulations for managers and employees.
- • Review and analyze EEO complaints to clarify issues and scope.
- • Maintain and improve EEO complaint intake, investigation, and resolution procedures to ensure timely processing.
- • Prepare selection and workforce analytics, EEO-1 and AAP reports, and remediation recommendations.
- • Conduct adverse impact analyses and climate surveys to detect systemic discrimination.
- • Review vendor and contractor agreements for required EEO clauses and OFCCP compliance.
- • Provide orientation materials to new hires on EEO rights, responsibilities, and complaint processes.
- • Deliver EEO training to leaders and staff on anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, and fair hiring.
- • Review job descriptions and selection criteria for job-relatedness and nondiscriminatory language.
- • Engage community and outreach partners to support diverse recruitment and compliance objectives.
- • Advise hiring committees on fair search practices and inclusive outreach strategies.
- • Support EEO aspects of recruitment, including outreach at job fairs and inclusive advertising plans.
- • Prepare investigation reports, case files, and recommended remedies for EEO matters.
- • Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses to gather and verify case facts.
- • Facilitate conciliation or mediation to resolve EEO disputes when appropriate.
- • Develop and update EEO policies, procedures, and guidance for nondiscriminatory employment practices.
- • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of EEO policies, training, and corrective actions.
