Description
Design and develop consumer and industrial products, blending aesthetics, ergonomics, user research, and manufacturing knowledge to deliver functional, appealing, and market-ready solutions.
- • Create concept sketches, detailed drawings, and 3D CAD models and renderings.
- • Direct and coordinate prototype fabrication and the creation of engineering drawings and specifications.
- • Iterate designs with mockups and prototypes to meet user needs, specifications, and manufacturing constraints.
- • Define and coordinate product form, fit, and function across product lines.
- • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to establish and assess design concepts.
- • Present design concepts, prototypes, and reports to stakeholders and refine based on feedback.
- • Evaluate feasibility considering usability, safety, function, serviceability, cost, materials, processes, and market fit.

- • Define manufacturing procedures and tolerances with factories and oversee builds to improve quality.
- • Lead and mentor design assistants and contractors throughout the design process.
- • Build appearance models and functional prototypes using shop tools and digital fabrication.
- • Conduct user studies and product testing to assess safety, ergonomics, durability, and maintenance.
- • Contribute to product standards, regulatory compliance, and internal design guidelines.
- • Support new product planning and market research to identify opportunities and requirements.
- • Advise on brand and product identity, including industrial design language across portfolios.
