Research and evaluate public policies across assigned issue areas, and develop evidence-based recommendations for legislation, programs, stakeholder engagement, and funding strategies.
  • • Write reports, briefs, or papers to communicate policy research findings.
  • • Coordinate with government, nonprofits, or industry to advance policy initiatives.
  • • Present policy analyses at public, governmental, or stakeholder meetings.
  • • Present and defend proposals for policy research or evaluation projects.
  • • Prepare grant or funding applications for policy programs or research.
  • • Gather and synthesize studies and data from agencies, think tanks, and academia.
  • • Develop or support education and outreach programs on policy issues.
  • • Review existing laws and regulations to assess impacts and gaps.
  • • Provide analytical support for policy briefs on assigned sectors or issues.
  • • Prepare memos, reports, testimony, and talking points for decision-makers.
  • • Recommend legislative or regulatory changes based on policy analysis.
  • • Research policies, practices, and procedures for program design and governance.
  • • Propose new or modified policies across areas such as health, energy, or transportation.
  • • Distill complex research for legislators, regulators, and other stakeholders.
