Climate Change Policy Analysts
Description
Support climate and clean energy programs through policy research, analysis, and coordination. Develop materials and recommendations to advance legislation, advocacy campaigns, and partner initiatives, and assist with grants and program reporting.
  • • Draft policy briefs, reports, and fact sheets on climate and energy topics.
  • • Support outreach and advocacy to advance climate and clean energy initiatives with partners and government stakeholders.
  • • Assist with presentations at public, stakeholder, and governmental meetings.
  • • Coordinate meetings, webinars, and stakeholder convenings; capture notes and action items.
  • • Assist in preparing grant proposals, budgets, and reports for climate and energy programs.
  • • Compile and synthesize studies and data from agencies, laboratories, and NGOs.
  • • Contribute to educational and engagement content for climate and energy programs.
  • • Track and summarize policies, regulations, and legislation for environmental and energy impacts.
  • • Provide analysis and data visualization for briefs on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate resilience.
  • • Produce memos, talking points, testimony drafts, and other materials for policymakers and partners.
  • • Draft recommendation summaries based on policy analysis and program priorities.
  • • Research best practices in climate mitigation, adaptation, and energy management.
  • • Support development of policy options on fuels, transportation, power sector, and economy-wide decarbonization.
  • • Translate research findings into concise takeaways for internal teams and external stakeholders; maintain knowledge databases and trackers.
