Description
Analyze climate risks and policy developments and translate findings into actionable mitigation and adaptation strategies. Advise on legislation, programs, and outreach, and support implementation, stakeholder engagement, and funding efforts.
  • • Produce reports, briefs, and publications communicating climate analyses and recommendations.
  • • Promote and help implement mitigation and adaptation initiatives with governments, NGOs, and communities.
  • • Present climate information and guidance at public, governmental, and stakeholder meetings.
  • • Present and defend proposals for climate programs, pilots, or research projects.
  • • Prepare grant and funding applications for climate, sustainability, or environmental management programs.
  • • Gather and synthesize climate studies and data from agencies, laboratories, and other organizations.
  • • Develop or support educational and outreach programs on climate change.
  • • Review policies, plans, or legislation to identify climate risks and environmental impacts.
  • • Provide technical and analytical support for policy and program briefs on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate.
  • • Prepare memoranda, testimonies, and other materials to inform decision-makers on climate issues.
  • • Develop recommendations on legislation, programs, and practices for climate change and environmental management.
  • • Support implementation and monitoring of approved climate actions and plans.
  • • Propose new or revised policies and practices involving fuels, transportation, land use, and other climate drivers.
  • • Analyze and distill climate research findings to advise legislators, regulators, and other stakeholders.
