Description
Clean and detail vehicles, machinery, and other equipment using water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses. Follow safety and cleanliness standards while operating manual and powered cleaning tools.
- • Inspect vehicles and equipment for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards.
- • Scrub, spray, or vacuum surfaces using brushes, cloths, cleaners, and hoses.
- • Mix cleaning solutions and compounds according to specified formulas.
- • Operate and monitor automated washers, pressure washers, and vacuums.
- • Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and glass.
- • Rinse and dry surfaces using squeegees, towels, or compressed air.
- • Drive vehicles to and from bays, lots, or customer locations.
- • Adjust valves, nozzles, or regulators to control water, air, steam, or detergent flow.
- • Pre-soak or rinse vehicles, parts, or equipment manually or with hoists.
- • Perform minor adjustments or lubrication on cleaning equipment or fixtures.
- • Stop equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance.
- • Remove and reinstall mats, covers, or light trim to access areas for cleaning.
- • Connect hoses and lines to pumps and other cleaning equipment.
- • Maintain inventories and restock cleaning supplies and materials.
- • Apply polishes, waxes, sealants, or protectants to restore and protect finishes.
- • Purge lines and disconnect hoses to clear water, solutions, or vapors.
- • Sweep, shovel, or vacuum debris and dispose of waste per procedures.
- • Transport tools, supplies, and parts to and from work areas.
- • Detail interiors, including plastics, vents, and crevices, using brushes.
- • Dress tires and exterior trim to finish vehicles.
