Description
Clean and detail vehicles, machinery, and other equipment using water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses. Follow safety and cleanliness standards while operating manual and powered cleaning tools.
  • • Inspect vehicles and equipment for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards.
  • • Scrub, spray, or vacuum surfaces using brushes, cloths, cleaners, and hoses.
  • • Mix cleaning solutions and compounds according to specified formulas.
  • • Operate and monitor automated washers, pressure washers, and vacuums.
  • • Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and glass.
  • • Rinse and dry surfaces using squeegees, towels, or compressed air.
  • • Drive vehicles to and from bays, lots, or customer locations.
  • • Adjust valves, nozzles, or regulators to control water, air, steam, or detergent flow.
  • • Pre-soak or rinse vehicles, parts, or equipment manually or with hoists.
  • • Perform minor adjustments or lubrication on cleaning equipment or fixtures.
  • • Stop equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance.
  • • Remove and reinstall mats, covers, or light trim to access areas for cleaning.
  • • Connect hoses and lines to pumps and other cleaning equipment.
  • • Maintain inventories and restock cleaning supplies and materials.
  • • Apply polishes, waxes, sealants, or protectants to restore and protect finishes.
  • • Purge lines and disconnect hoses to clear water, solutions, or vapors.
  • • Sweep, shovel, or vacuum debris and dispose of waste per procedures.
  • • Transport tools, supplies, and parts to and from work areas.
  • • Detail interiors, including plastics, vents, and crevices, using brushes.
  • • Dress tires and exterior trim to finish vehicles.
