Description
Coordinate with leadership, departments, suppliers, and customers to meet sustainability goals. Plan, implement, and manage sustainability programs, targets, and reporting in line with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • • Identify and coordinate sustainability training and development for employees and volunteers.
  • • Scope and manage pilot projects to test and scale sustainability solutions.
  • • Conduct environmental and sustainability risk assessments.
  • • Create and maintain program plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • • Prepare project proposals and grant applications to secure funding for initiatives.
  • • Supervise staff or volunteers working on sustainability projects.
  • • Produce and distribute financial, ESG, and environmental impact reports.
  • • Track objectives and progress to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations, and laws.
  • • Implement sustainability campaigns and collaborate with marketing on outreach strategies.
  • • Research sustainability issues, regulations, and stakeholder interests.
  • • Evaluate and recommend project proposals based on cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and alignment with other initiatives.
  • • Develop reports, presentations, and proposals for suppliers, employees, media, government, and public interest groups.
  • • Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring systems for sustainability performance.
  • • Create or coordinate marketing and outreach materials for sustainability programs and events.
  • • Develop methodologies and metrics to assess initiative viability and success.
  • • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • • Manage program operations to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • • Develop and execute strategies on energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, transportation, education, and sustainable building design.
