Description
Manage and improve environmental and sustainability programs across the organization, coordinating with departments, suppliers, and regulators to meet goals, ensure compliance, and achieve measurable reductions in energy use, emissions, and waste.
  • • Identify and deliver sustainability and environmental training for employees and volunteers.
  • • Identify and evaluate pilot projects to advance sustainability performance.
  • • Conduct environmental and sustainability risk assessments.
  • • Create and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • • Prepare project proposals and grant applications for environmental initiatives.
  • • Supervise staff and volunteers executing sustainability projects.
  • • Prepare and distribute environmental and sustainability performance reports.
  • • Review program objectives and progress to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • • Plan and implement sustainability engagement and awareness campaigns.
  • • Research environmental issues and stakeholder concerns to inform initiatives.
  • • Evaluate and recommend or approve sustainability project proposals based on cost, feasibility, and alignment.
  • • Develop reports and presentations for employees, suppliers, community, and regulators.
  • • Develop and manage sustainability metrics, dashboards, and monitoring systems.
  • • Develop outreach materials and communications for sustainability programs and events.
  • • Define methodologies and KPIs to assess initiative viability and success.
  • • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • • Manage environmental program operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • • Execute strategies for energy efficiency, resource conservation, recycling, pollution prevention, waste reduction, sustainable transportation, education, and green building.
