Evaluate and monitor organizational finances by analyzing budgets and accounting reports, forecasting revenues and expenditures, and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies, statutes, and regulations.
  • • Analyze monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure and revenue controls.
  • • Direct the preparation of regular and special fiscal and budget reports.
  • • Consult with program and department leaders to align budget adjustments with policy and program changes.
  • • Reconcile program appropriations with agency and fund-level allocations, including reserves and emergency funds.
  • • Provide advice and technical assistance on cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
  • • Summarize budgets and recommend approval or denial of funding requests.
  • • Identify efficiencies, cost savings, and process improvements while maintaining service levels.
  • • Review operating and capital budgets and forecast revenues and expenditures to assess fiscal trends and needs.
  • • Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • • Conduct cost-benefit and fiscal impact analyses to compare programs, evaluate requests, and assess financing options.
  • • Interpret fiscal directives and develop guidance for implementing policies and controls.
  • • Compile and analyze financial records and performance data to determine resources required to implement programs.
  • • Present and defend fiscal analyses to executive, legislative, and oversight bodies.
