Description
Coordinate the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets across departments. Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, and analyze budgeting and accounting reports to track performance and support timely adjustments.
  • • Coordinate monthly budgeting cycles and collect department submissions.
  • • Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • • Analyze department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
  • • Prepare and distribute regular and ad hoc budget reports and dashboards.
  • • Reconcile budget data with the general ledger, encumbrances, and forecasts.
  • • Facilitate budget transfers, reallocations, and amendments in line with program changes.
  • • Provide guidance and technical assistance on cost estimates, allocations, and budget procedures.
  • • Summarize funding requests and compile recommendations for management review.
  • • Monitor operating budgets to identify variances, trends, and risks; escalate issues.
  • • Maintain budget calendars, documentation, and audit-ready records.
  • • Maintain and update budget systems, templates, and chart-of-accounts mappings.
  • • Support cost-benefit, scenario, and funding analyses as requested.
  • • Communicate budget directives, timelines, and process changes to stakeholders.
