Description
Manage manufacturing production and plant operations. Collect and analyze production and performance data, diagnose issues, and implement corrective procedures to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
- • Provide training to employees to improve plant safety and increase production efficiency.
- • Direct teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards and regulations.
- • Monitor transportation and storage of materials, including hazardous substances, to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
- • Oversee sampling and testing of products or by-products for quality control.
- • Collaborate with technical and supervisory staff to resolve issues affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality.
- • Supervise production employees across assigned manufacturing lines.
- • Coordinate shutdowns and restarts of equipment during emergencies or for maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
- • Review logs, data sheets, and reports to confirm production targets and identify process or equipment abnormalities.
- • Prepare and manage production unit budgets.
- • Monitor real-time production data and process parameters to ensure proper equipment operation, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- • Conduct cost, material, and efficiency studies to optimize operations.
- • Approve proposals for equipment acquisition, replacement, repair, or new production processes.
- • Adjust or authorize adjustments to process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rate, levels) to maintain operating conditions.
- • Manage end-to-end plant operations, including production, scheduling, shipping, maintenance, and quality assurance.
