Description
Oversee biofuels production and plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • • Train and coach staff to improve plant safety and productivity.
  • • Direct employees to meet safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
  • • Oversee transport and storage of flammable feedstocks and products for safety.
  • • Ensure sampling of products and by-products for quality control testing.
  • • Collaborate with technical and supervisory staff to resolve safety, efficiency, and quality issues.
  • • Supervise production personnel for biodiesel, ethanol, or other biofuels.
  • • Authorize and coordinate equipment or plant shutdowns and restarts for emergencies or maintenance.
  • • Review logs, data sheets, and reports to verify output and spot abnormalities.
  • • Prepare and manage production unit and plant operating budgets.
  • • Monitor meters and flow data; initiate corrective actions to maintain proper operation.
  • • Conduct cost, material, and efficiency studies to optimize production.
  • • Approve proposals for equipment acquisition, replacement, repair, or new processes.
  • • Direct adjustments to temperature, pressure, vacuum, levels, and flow to hold setpoints.
  • • Oversee production, shipping, maintenance, and quality assurance activities at the facility.
