Description
Install, operate, calibrate, and maintain sensors, data acquisition systems, and control/communications equipment used to monitor and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and process systems. Set up test rigs, verify signal integrity, and document and interpret results.
- • Inspect, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and test setups to detect malfunctions.
- • Record, validate, and interpret test and calibration data.
- • Collaborate with engineers and operators on test plans, procedures, and results.
- • Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components, cables, and fittings in instrumentation systems.
- • Define required data and test parameters, and configure equipment to meet specifications.
- • Build, wire, and maintain test fixtures, panels, and benches per drawings and schematics.
- • Configure, operate, and calibrate DAQ hardware, sensors, and control software.
- • Perform functional and environmental tests under simulated operating conditions with pre- and post-test checkouts.
- • Fabricate and install sensors, harnesses, and mounting hardware using hand and power tools.
- • Instrument and de-instrument prototypes and production equipment, including routing, labeling, and documentation.
- • Maintain calibration schedules, asset records, and compliance with quality standards.
