Description
Source and procure goods, materials, and services to support organizational operations. Analyze demand, spend, supplier markets, price, and quality to determine best value and total cost. Create and manage purchase orders, negotiate contracts and terms, and coordinate delivery and payment in line with company policies. Partner with stakeholders and suppliers to meet specifications, quality, sustainability, and budget goals.
- • Monitor demand forecasts, usage data, and market conditions to plan purchases and inventory.
- • Negotiate pricing, discounts, terms, and delivery or transportation arrangements.
- • Create, release, and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.

- • Analyze total cost of ownership and identify cost-reduction or value-improvement opportunities.
- • Maintain accurate item, supplier, and contract data in procurement systems and catalogs.
- • Track shipments and compare logistics options for cost, lead time, and sustainability.
- • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and lead corrective actions as needed.
- • Coordinate quality inspections, certifications, and supplier onboarding or audits.
- • Research and benchmark supplier markets, pricing, and risk factors.
- • Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- • Identify and source sustainable or diverse suppliers to meet ESG goals.
- • Collaborate with suppliers to develop or customize products to specifications.
- • Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations to management.
- • Train or guide junior procurement or clerical staff.
- • Maintain procurement records and documentation for audit readiness.
- • Support business continuity by qualifying alternates and managing supply risks.
- • Issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and recommend awards.
