Description
Lead and coordinate field crews installing residential and commercial solar PV and thermal systems, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and code compliance.
- • Plan and coordinate daily installation activities to meet codes and standards.
- • Supervise installers, technicians, and subcontractors; enforce safety procedures.
- • Conduct site walks to assess feasibility, layout, and access requirements.
- • Review drawings, one-lines, and specifications; maintain redlines and as-builts.
- • Verify workmanship and system performance at system, subsystem, and component levels.
- • Schedule and host inspections with building officials and utilities.
- • Monitor progress, quality, and costs; keep work aligned with plans and schedules.
- • Perform system commissioning and start-up for testing and turnover.
- • Provide technical guidance on PV, solar thermal, electrical, and mechanical issues.
