Description
Lead sourcing strategy and supplier management to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, products, and services; direct sourcing teams, optimize total cost, mitigate risk, and ensure quality, compliance, and supply continuity.
- • Maintain records of suppliers, sourcing events, contracts, and performance.
- • Identify, research, and qualify new and diverse suppliers.
- • Lead RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and competitive bidding.
- • Develop category strategies and manage spend, budgets, and savings targets.
- • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels to optimize total cost.
- • Review and approve sourcing recommendations and award decisions.
- • Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to define specifications and requirements.
- • Analyze markets, cost drivers, and supply risks to inform sourcing plans.
- • Implement sourcing and contract management policies and procedures.
- • Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, and compliance checks.
- • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and drive corrective actions.
- • Resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, and claims.
- • Partner with Legal to draft, review, and execute contracts and amendments.
- • Direct and develop sourcing staff; recruit, train, and evaluate performance.
- • Prepare reports on market conditions, supplier performance, and cost trends.
- • Administer e-sourcing platforms and supplier portals.
- • Plan supplier transitions, product end-of-life, and continuity strategies.
- • Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and process improvement initiatives.
