Plan, execute, and oversee portfolio and asset strategies for institutional and individual clients, managing selection, performance, risk, compliance, and operations to achieve client objectives.
  • • Prepare for and respond to regulatory examinations and inquiries.
  • • Verify regulatory compliance of trade and transaction reporting.
  • • Hire, develop, or evaluate portfolio and operations staff.
  • • Oversee portfolio accounting, custody, and operations.
  • • Develop, implement, and monitor valuation policies for holdings.
  • • Stay current on markets through briefings, research, and media.
  • • Review client, product, and marketing materials for accuracy and compliance.
  • • Conduct fundamental, quantitative, and macro research to inform allocation and security selection.
  • • Present performance, risks, fees, and outlook to clients and stakeholders.
  • • Monitor asset and portfolio performance versus benchmarks and risk limits.
  • • Track regulatory and tax changes to maintain compliance and capture opportunities.
  • • Engage clients to assess objectives, constraints, and investment strategy.
  • • Identify and pursue target clients, mandates, or distribution channels.
  • • Develop and oversee RFPs, pitches, and offering materials.
  • • Evaluate new products, asset classes, or market opportunities.
  • • Set and implement portfolio policies, guidelines, and strategies.
  • • Direct trade execution, rebalancing, and cash management.
  • • Evaluate acquisitions or new positions for strategic fit, risk, and compliance.
  • • Manage portfolios to achieve return, risk, and liquidity targets.
  • • Select securities and asset allocations for client accounts.
