Description
Assess, treat, and care for patients through spinal and musculoskeletal manipulation, providing spinal adjustments and addressing sacral or pelvic misalignment.
- • Perform manual spinal and joint adjustments to correct musculoskeletal dysfunction.
- • Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal and spinal function using chiropractic diagnostic methods.
- • Diagnose conditions by reviewing medical histories, conducting exams, and observing patients.
- • Obtain and record patients' medical histories.
- • Interpret and analyze x-rays to identify sources of problems and rule out fractures or disease.
- • Maintain accurate case histories and treatment records.
- • Advise patients on recommended treatment plans.
- • Counsel patients on nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and lifestyle.
- • Recommend or apply supports such as straps, tape, bandages, or braces.
- • Consult with or refer patients to other health practitioners when necessary.
- • Order and arrange diagnostic tests, including blood, saliva, x-rays, or other imaging.
