Description
Acquire, process, and interpret aerial, satellite, UAV, and terrestrial imagery to produce accurate measurements, orthophotos, elevation models, and 3D maps. Apply photogrammetric principles, including camera calibration, image orientation, aerotriangulation, and geodetic control, and integrate survey, LiDAR, and GPS data within GIS. Design and refine processing workflows and algorithms, and ensure products meet specified accuracy, metadata, and quality standards.
- • Plan image acquisition missions and select sensors, flight parameters, and ground control strategies.
- • Establish and adjust control points and tie points; perform bundle and block adjustments.
- • Calibrate cameras and assess imagery for geometric and radiometric quality.
- • Generate orthorectified imagery, orthomosaics, and true orthophotos.
- • Create and edit DEMs/DTMs, point clouds, contours, and 3D surface models.
- • Extract features and breaklines via stereo compilation and point-cloud editing.
- • Integrate LiDAR, GPS, and survey data with imagery to improve accuracy.
- • Define product specifications such as GSD, accuracy class, projection, and tiling scheme, and monitor production.
- • Conduct QA/QC and accuracy assessments and document metadata per standards.
- • Update and manage spatial databases for imagery and elevation products.
- • Revise photogrammetric products to reflect new imagery, control, or requirements.
- • Set data acceptance criteria and select suitable source materials and processing techniques.
- • Support cadastral, engineering, and environmental projects with image-derived measurements and analyses.
- • Perform field checks to validate control points, verify features, and troubleshoot acquisition issues.
