Lead the strategy and execution of biofuels technology programs, evaluating alternative feedstocks and conversion processes, advancing lab and pilot development, and delivering scalable solutions with near-term commercial potential.
- • Direct development of lab-scale models that represent industrial fermentation and conversion processes.
- • Champion computational tools and data platforms to accelerate biofuels R&D.

- • Oversee experimentation on biomass and pretreatment technologies.
- • Manage trials of new or alternative feedstock fermentation processes.
- • Analyze and synthesize data on fluid dynamics, water treatment, and solvent extraction to inform scale-up decisions.
- • Lead prototyping, piloting, and technology demonstration projects.
- • Prioritize and propose new biofuels products, processes, and applications based on R&D findings and market needs.
- • Collaborate on energy crop initiatives to improve yield, processability, and sustainability.
