Description
Support actuaries by compiling, validating, and analyzing insurance and financial data; perform actuarial computations and run models; and prepare exhibits, charts, and reports for pricing, reserving, valuation, and regulatory filings.
- • Compute actuarial metrics using spreadsheets, statistical software, and actuarial models.
- • Enter, transform, and validate data for analyses and reports.
- • Compile experience data from policy, claims, exposure, premium, and financial records.
- • Prepare reports, exhibits, charts, and graphs explaining analytical results.
- • Reconcile and quality-check source data for completeness and accuracy.
- • Assist with quarterly reserving, pricing studies, and valuation runs.
- • Participate in preparing regulatory and rate filing materials.
- • Discuss data and presentation requirements with actuaries and business partners.
- • Maintain and update actuarial databases, workpapers, and documentation.
- • Select or apply statistical tests and actuarial methods under supervision.
- • Organize and track data calls, questionnaires, and other inputs for analysis.
- • Code and map data to standardized classifications and rating variables.
- • Review data call or survey responses for errors and resolve issues.
- • Support publication or presentation of results, including slides and summaries.
