Description
Assess the health problems and needs of infants, children, and adolescents; develop and implement family-centered pediatric nursing care plans; and maintain pediatric medical records. Provide nursing care to acutely and chronically ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled children in inpatient, outpatient, school, and community settings. Educate patients and caregivers on growth and development, health maintenance, disease prevention, and immunizations, and coordinate case management and referrals. Licensure or registration required.
