Investigate physical phenomena, develop and test theories through observation, experiment, and simulation, and apply physical laws to solve scientific and engineering problems.
  • • Perform complex computations to analyze and evaluate experimental and observational data.
  • • Express observations, models, and conclusions in mathematical form.
  • • Analyze data to detect, quantify, and characterize physical phenomena.
  • • Report findings in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
  • • Design and run computer simulations to model physical systems and datasets.
  • • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to design, develop, and test instruments, equipment, and procedures.
