  • • Study relationships between environmental problems and patterns of production and consumption.
  • • Research topics such as alternative fuels, land use, conservation, and pollution control.
  • • Develop policy and program recommendations to achieve environmental goals cost-effectively.
  • • Conduct cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses of policies, regulations, and projects.
