Description
Teach and develop undergraduate courses in criminal justice, corrections, and law enforcement practices; assess student learning and provide academic and career advising. Coordinate internships or applied labs, collaborate with colleagues and practitioners, and contribute to program service and improvement.
  • • Lead and moderate classroom discussions and applied activities.
  • • Stay current with criminal justice trends through literature, training, and professional networks.
  • • Evaluate and grade assignments, projects, and exams.
  • • Design, administer, and grade examinations.
  • • Prepare and deliver lectures and labs on criminal law, policing, corrections, and investigation.

  • • Serve on departmental and college committees.
  • • Curate readings, case law, and multimedia for outside study.
  • • Support recruitment, advising, registration, and job placement efforts.
  • • Offer outreach or training to justice and community partners.
  • • Perform program coordination or other assigned administrative duties.
  • • Participate in campus and community events.
  • • Advise criminal justice student clubs or honor societies.
  • • Write letters of recommendation for scholarships, internships, and jobs.
