Description
Lead classroom care and instruction for young children in childcare centers or preschools. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities while managing daily routines such as meals, toileting, dressing, rest, and play. Maintain a safe, clean, inclusive environment; monitor development; and partner with families and staff to support each child’s growth.

- • Keep accurate records, including attendance, daily reports, incident logs, medications administered, and assessments.
- • Coordinate arrivals, dismissals, and transportation for outings; lead and supervise field trips.
- • Support early literacy, numeracy, and school readiness; assist with homework in school-age programs.
- • Perform light housekeeping and classroom upkeep, including laundry, dishes, and linens.
- • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations; follow emergency and first-aid procedures.
- • Mentor and direct assistant teachers, aides, and volunteers; help with scheduling and training.
