Description
Calculate, measure, load, mix, and process refined feedstocks with additives in fermentation or reaction vessels; monitor and control production parameters. Perform and document plant maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections.
  • • Calculate, measure, load, and mix refined feedstocks for biofuels production.
  • • Operate chemical processing equipment to produce biofuels.
  • • Operate centrifuges and other separation equipment to recover biofuels and reusable fractions.
  • • Operate and adjust valves, pumps, engines, and generators to control production.
  • • Process feedstocks with additives in fermentation or reaction vessels.
  • • Assess the quality of additives and intermediates for reprocessing.
  • • Calibrate liquid flow devices and meters, including fuel, chemical, and water meters.
  • • Collect samples and perform routine lab tests to verify biofuel quality.
  • • Inspect plant and processing equipment; record and report damage or mechanical issues.
  • • Measure and monitor incoming feedstocks.
  • • Monitor and record process data.
  • • Monitor and record flow meter performance.
  • • Monitor batch, continuous-flow, or hybrid production processes.
  • • Monitor stored products and by-products until reuse or transfer.
  • • Preprocess feedstocks for physical, chemical, or biological fuel production steps.
  • • Clean processing areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • • Coordinate raw feedstock sourcing or collection.
  • • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and instruments.
  • • Rebuild, repair, or replace processing equipment components.
