Description
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ethnic studies focused on the histories, cultures, and power relations of racialized and Indigenous communities; conduct and publish scholarly research; and contribute to service and community engagement.
- • Stay current in ethnic studies scholarship through reading, conferences, and collaboration.
- • Conduct original research and publish in journals, books, or digital media.
- • Evaluate and grade students’ assignments, papers, and projects.
- • Develop culturally responsive syllabi, assignments, and course materials.

- • Incorporate experiential learning, fieldwork, and community partnerships into courses.
- • Perform administrative duties, such as program coordination or area leadership.
- • Provide expert consulting or testimony to community groups, NGOs, government, or industry.
- • Engage in public scholarship and campus or community events, lectures, and workshops.
