Description
Train animals for riding, harness, security, performance, obedience, or disability assistance. Acclimate animals to human voice and handling and condition them to respond to commands. Prepare animals to meet show or competition standards; may train pack animals or teams to carry loads.
  • • Train dogs for assistance, obedience, detection, or protection.
  • • Retrain animals to correct undesirable behaviors.
  • • Observe animals to detect illness or conditions needing veterinary care.
  • • Cue or signal animals during training or performances.
